MEADOWS is a desktop app that brings your friends, messages, and game activity into one place. It's an early prototype your feedback shapes what it becomes.
MEADOWS was born from a simple belief: the most important thing in a game is not the game itself. It's the people you share it with. The entire vision of MEADOWS is built around this idea.
Discord connects servers, not people. Steam catalogs games, not friendships. Overwolf provides tools, not human connections. For years, gaming platforms have optimized communication, but rarely relationships.
The observation is overwhelming: the majority of gamers spend most of their play time alone or with superficial acquaintances. Gaming friendships, those bonds forged in the most intense moments, shared defeats, and hard-won victories, form by chance, never by design. A player can spend hundreds of hours on a game without ever finding a regular companion. The traditional "Looking For Group" is a transactional mechanism: you recruit a skill, not a person. You look for DPS for a raid, not a friend for an adventure.
MEADOWS completely flips this logic. Instead of asking "What game do you want to play?", MEADOWS asks "Who do you want to meet?" Instead of figuring out how to make players talk more, we ask how to help them create lasting relationships.
The gaming industry is worth over 180 billion dollars and connects over 3.2 billion players worldwide. Yet no platform has truly tackled one essential question: why are gaming friendships so rare, so precious, and why should they remain a matter of chance? MEADOWS exists to answer that question.
A personal project.
